Arizona native Kim Owens started her professional life as a registered nurse, working in a busy emergency room then transitioned to school nursing. Kim was successfully elected to five terms on the Tolleson Union High School District Governing Board and also served on the Maricopa County Industrial Authority. She is currently in her third term on the Salt River Project Council, representing District 2.

She served on multiple political campaigns for offices including President, Governor, Attorney General, US Senate and House of Representatives, and the Arizona state legislature. Kim has consulted with grassroots groups statewide on ballot initiatives and propositions including the successful "Just Vote No on Prop 205" campaign and was part of the team that developed the legislation to end adult abuses in probate court. 

In 2012 Kim took over leadership of the Dodie Londen Excellence in Public Service Series as Executive Director.  It is a highly successful organization focused on training Republican women for positions of leadership and has led to the election of graduates as state legislators, county officials, city councils, and school board members as well as numerous appointed boards and commission.

With an expertise in developing public awareness, her recent client work includes a major national financial services provider, an international pharmaceutical corporation, the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation, United Cerebral Palsy of Central Arizona, the Arizona "Free the Grapes" campaign instrumental in allowing the direct shipment of wine in Arizona, and Shea Homes of Arizona. Kim was part of the GCJPR team that produced "Meeting Week" for the Committee on Arrangements, as part of the 2016 Republican National Convention, and is trained in the Interest Based Approach to decision making.
